Written for Langley Band’s “Black by Day, Red by Night” Wychavon 2025 set, The Anvil Call is an energetic and highly contrasting big band piece.
Featuring anvil sound effects and 5 part harmonies, The Anvil Call is inspired by Verdi’s Anvil Chorus and the big band music of the 20th century.
