Written for Stourport-on-Severn Brass Band and their soprano cornet player, Neil Kerridge, Vespera is a highly rhythmic soprano cornet solo with busy band accompaniment.
From the latin word for dusk, Vespera depicts the final moments of sunlight before darkness.
