  • Charlie is a Midlands-based brass band composer and arranger and is the Composer and Arranger-in-Residence for Midlands Championship band, Langley Band

  • With a keen knowledge of world music, big band and funk, much of Charlie’s work fuses brass band traditions with alternative genres into progressive, entertainment-focused repertoire

  • In 2023, Charlie was shortlisted for the UniBrass Foundation’s Composition Competition and has since completed numerous commissioned works
